College Nordmetall, Jacobs University´s college, was opened in 2009 and named in honor of the employers’ association NORDMETALL, whose donations made the realization of the project possible.

On about 12.000 m2 College Nordmetall offers living space for a total of 257 students. The college features 91 single apartments and 83 double apartments, one dining room, a lounge, quiet study areas, meeting rooms and sports facilities and last but not least a room full of mirrors, the Nordmetall Dance Room.
